Developing Highly Profitable and Sustainable Products from Organic Resources - SORP Annual Conference & AGM
£270.00
(excluding 20% VAT)
Date & Venue
2nd May, SCI, London
Background
Organic resources such as agricultural materials and biosolids are continually being produced in large quantities. In order to maximise the extent to which they are recycled, appropriate markets for the various types of material must be found. Since recycling will only be undertaken by the producer if it is economic to do so it is therefore important to find applications which increase the value of the organic resource. Consequently it is necessary to understand the demand for such applications and products and that means close co-operation with a range of organisations with a requirement for these materials.
The conference aims to explore the scope for developing highly profitable and sustainable products from a range of organic resources and to review a number of processes and technologies currently in use or under investigation. The regulatory background is an important aspect and the various applications will be considered in the light of current and future legislation and control policies. The potential market will also be reviewed and consideration will be given to ways in which the producers might enhance the value of their products by improving communication with the users.
