As a Process Technician the successful candidate will be required to collect and transport samples from client sites and assist in the commissioning phase of various water treatment plants. This includes communicating with a range of clients and suppliers therefore strong communication skills are a must.
Aqua Enviro are a specialist consultancy and water treatment company who having recently joined one of the world’s leading water companies, SUEZ Advanced Solutions UK, to become part of their technology and solutions division. We are currently recruiting for a Process Technician to join our fast growing Environmental Consultancy in the field of wastewater and biosolids treatment.
What will I be doing as a Process Technician?
• Collection and analysis of samples using safe working and good housekeeping practice.
• Reporting internally to colleagues, project managers and clients’ representatives.
• Assist with commissioning and operation of wastewater and sludge treatment plant.
• To perform any other duties as reasonably required by the Company.
• At all times work in a way that demonstrates the Company’s business methods.
• Maintaining high standards in terms of personal appearance conduct and respect of Company property.
• To listen to and relay market intelligence.
What are the requirements? (experience and qualifications)
The successful candidate would ideally have experience in a similar role or a degree in an environmental discipline. Being computer literate and having a good knowledge of IT systems is highly desirable. The role requires a proactive and flexible candidate who is able to work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate must have a full UK driving license and be prepared to spend periods of time working away from home (up to two weeks) within the UK.
